Version 1.0 · 8 October 2026
This notice is published in Arabic and English. If the two differ, the Arabic text applies.
1. Who we are
Cotta cube Ceramics and Pottery Manufacturing (كوتا كيوب لصناعة الخزف والفخار), commercial registration 249369, Building 136, Office 21, Street 244, Zone 37, Bin Omran, Doha, Qatar.
We decide how the personal data you send through this site is used and why. Qatar's Law No. 13 of 2016 on Protecting Personal Data Privacy (the Law) applies to it.
Privacy contact. We do not have an email address yet. Use the brief form on this site and choose "Privacy request".
2. What we collect
- From the form: your name, organisation, role, email, phone, your brief, quantity, the date you need the pieces, where they will be used, glaze, who referred you, how you heard of us, and any file you attach.
- Automatically: the source tag in the link or QR code you used (for example
?src=card), the date and time you sent the form, and the technical data every website receives: your IP address and browser details.
3. Why we use it
- To read your brief, reply to it and discuss it with you.
- To follow up on that brief.
- To count how many briefs come from each event, link or channel.
- To protect the site and the form from misuse.
- To send you news by email, only if you tick the box for it.
We will not use your data for any other purpose without asking you first.
4. Your consent
By sending the form, you confirm you have read this notice and agree that we use your details to answer your brief (Article 4 of the Law). News by email needs its own box, which stays unticked unless you tick it (Article 22). You can withdraw either consent at any time (section 8).
5. Who sees it, and where it goes
- Cloudflare hosts the site, runs the form and stores each brief.
- Google Workspace: a copy of your brief, with any file, is emailed to the founder's mailbox on Ceramic Cube's email domain.
- Notion: a task is opened on our team's task board for the person who will answer you.
- Anthropic (Claude): AI assistants used by the Cube group read briefs to sort them and draft replies. A person checks every reply before it is sent.
- The hosting, file storage and messaging services those assistants run on.
- The person in our team who answers briefs.
- Ceramic Cube Pottery Trading, CR 139381, our sister company in the Cube group: its email system and task board hold your brief, and its staff may help answer it.
These services process data outside Qatar, including in the United States and Europe. The Law allows personal data to move across borders (Article 15). We use these services only for the purposes in section 3.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone other than those listed above, unless the law requires us to.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your brief for 12 months from the day we receive it. After that we delete the form record, any file you uploaded, the emailed copy and the task on our task board.
7. How we protect it
The form sends your data over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Briefs are used only by the people and assistants who work on them, and our providers hold them in protected accounts. If a breach could seriously harm you, we will tell you and the regulator (Article 14).
8. Your rights
Under Articles 5 and 6 of the Law, you can:
- ask what data we hold about you and why, and get a copy of it;
- ask us to correct it, with something that shows the correct details;
- ask us to delete it;
- withdraw your consent, including to news emails;
- object to how we use it.
How to ask: use the brief form on this site, choose "Privacy request" and tell us what you want. Use the email address you used for your brief so we can find it. We may ask you to confirm it is you. We will reply within 30 days.
9. Complaints
Please tell us first, through "Privacy request". If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the authority that enforces the Law, the National Cyber Security Agency (ncsa.gov.qa) (Article 26).
10. Please do not send
- Personal data of a special nature: health, physical or mental condition, ethnic origin, religious belief, marital relations, criminal offences or records, or any data about children (Article 16).
- QID, passport or other ID numbers, or bank or card details.
- Other people's personal details, apart from the name of the colleague we should contact or the person who referred you.
- Photos of people in your upload. Drawings and photos of a space or a piece are welcome.
